MIAMI, FL, December 24, 2008 - BGT Partners’ Managing Partner, David Clarke, was selected to join the Distinguished Judges & Advisors Board for the Media Section of the American Business Awards (ABAs). Also known as “The Stevie Awards”, the competition was created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide.
“The contribution that the Stevie Awards make to the business world is substantial and I am delighted to have the opportunity to join such a respected board.” said Clarke.
The American Business Awards have been called “the business world’s own Oscar Awards.” Although they are best known for uniquely honoring companies and business professionals nationwide in categories such as Most Innovative Company, Best New Product or Service, or Best Executive, the ABAs also have a media section with categories honoring America’s best advertising, design, web sites, video, and live events such as tradeshows and sales meetings.
The newly created Media Board was formed to recognize the growth of entries in the ABA’s categories for business media. Clarke was chosen for his contribution to the interactive industry for leading companies like Sony, Avaya, FedEx and Ryder.
