BGT Redesign of LANDesk Corporate Site Receives IMA Outstanding Achievement Award

MIAMI, FL, February 6, 2008 - The BGT redesign of LANDesk’s Corporate website was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award in the category of computer software at the Interactive Media Awards (IMA).

The Outstanding Achievement Award is the second highest honor bestowed by the IMA and is awarded to websites that excel across all areas of judging criteria, representing a very high standard of planning, execution and overall professionalism.

Highlights from the redesign of the site included:

  • A custom content block filtering using smart form configurations for the Customer Success page
  • Implementation of Ektron out of the box and a custom configurable flash using XML file for the revamp of the Homepage
  • A custom dynamic list summary template and left navigation using XSL file for look and feel on the Press Room Page
  • Custom development and integration of Ektron DMS with AJAX technology and Ektron API for support and downloads documents (pdf, zip, etc.) on the Support Download page
  • Development of an Ektron custom form that submits to an action page that saves submitted data in a custom table and sends a custom content block e-mail. The e-mail contains a generated link that takes you to the site again and submits your info to Sales Force and redirects you to a download page on the Product Trial Request Form
